UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO:FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Mark Fuchs – Operations Director <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />May 12, 2020 6.1g <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br />th <br /> Staff has been working with the City of Otsego on the ParkviewAvenue and 88 Street <br />project, located south of the Coborn’s that is being built. The project requires the <br />installation of three phase underground primary infrastructurefor an apartment <br />buildingand future developments, as well as forstreetlights. <br /> <br />Elk River High School will be modifying theirparkinglotthis summer, with thesignal <br />system needing to be moved to the west from its current location. During the <br />modification, the existing water main in the parking lot will also be replaced. <br /> <br /> Staff continues working with MNDOT on the reconstruction and improvement of <br />Highway 10that is slated to be completedin 2021. <br /> <br /> Staff continues to work with Kodet Architectural Group on the new field services <br />building. We are looking at our current needs and considering options that would help <br />us meet future needs. Most importantly, the building costs need to be in line with <br />budget. <br /> <br /> Staff is also working with Power Systems Engineering (PSE) on plans to install electrical <br />infrastructure to make room for the new field services building. <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />219 <br />
