UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO:FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Mark Fuchs – Operations Director <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />April 14, 2020 6.1g <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> Staff has been working with Wright County engineers on theCounty State-Aid Highway <br />(CSAH) 39 roundabouts and road improvements from Parish Avenue to west of O’Dean <br />Avenue. There is a preconstructionmeeting on April15. <br /> Staff has been working with Sherburne County engineers on CSAH 1 and CSAH 12 <br />projects. The CSAH 1reconstructionis scheduledto start June 1. The plans for the <br />reconstruction of CSAH 12 are still being finalized. <br /> <br /> Staff has been working with MNDOT on the reconstruction and improvement of <br />Highway 10 that is slated to be completed in 2021. With this project, staff has been <br />working with city engineers on the new trail lighting between Simonet Drive and Lowell <br />Avenue. <br /> <br /> Staff is coordinating plans for the leachate pipeline project, which includes installing <br />st <br />three phase underground primary line next to the city trail, from 221 Avenue to the <br />landfill site. We will also be rebuilding the electric infrastructure on the west side of the <br />landfill. With this installation, the landfill electric underground service will be looped, <br />making it possible to backfeed power if we experience a fault in the primary <br />underground line. <br /> Staff has been experiencing longer lead times for materials they have on order for <br />upcoming projects. <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />211 <br />
