The committee wanted more information on potential locations, <br />the size, detailed itemization of costs and maintenance, and discuss the design and engineering of the art <br />installation. <br /> <br />Mr. Coppersmith presented his refined proposal and the subcommittee discussed the location of the public <br />art display. The consensus of the group was to ask for the property owner’s permission to display it front of <br />the Granite Shores building. The property owner has since agreed to the location and display of public art. <br /> <br />The subcommittee requested to see a final mockup of the public art display prior to the EDA meeting on <br />February 18, 2020. <br /> <br />Staff is requesting that the subcommittee provide a recommendation to the EDA regarding Mr. <br />Coppersmith’s proposal. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />The EDA budgeted $5,000 in 2020 as a matching grant for a public art installation at their June 17, 2019, <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> Matthew Coppersmith Proposal <br />
