<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />March 14, 1960 <br /> <br />A special meeting was held at the Village Hall on Mar 14, 1960. <br /> <br />Members present: <br /> Henry Johnson, Mayor; August Meyer, R.G. Kemper, Trustees; H.A. Briggs, Clerk <br /> <br />Mr. James Olsen of Juran and Moody was present in regard to issuing bonds for sewer extensions. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Meyer and seconded by Kemper to authorize Clerk and Mayor to enter into <br />a contract with Juran and Moddy to buy bonds for sewer extensions at a rate or rates so that net <br />interest rate will not exceed 4.50%. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Kemper and seconded by Meyer to advertise for bids for cash register for <br />the Liquor Store. Bids to be opened at 7:30 P.M. on April 4, 1960.
