<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />September 3, 1959 <br /> <br />A special meeting was held at the Village Hall on Sept 3, 1959 for the purpose of considering bids <br />for the demolition of parts of the Creamery building. <br /> <br />Members present: <br /> August Meyer, Acting Mayor; G.R Bergerson, R.G. Kemper, Trustees; H.A. Briggs, <br />Clerk <br /> <br />A motion was made by Briggs and seconded by Bergerson to send back all bids unopened for the <br />reason of legal difficulties in advertising for bids Motion carried. <br /> <br />August Meyer acted as mayor in the absence of Mayor Johnson. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />H.A.
