<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 9, 1938 <br /> <br />The special meeting of the Village Council was held at the Municipal Building Thursday June 9, 1938 <br />at 8 o’clock P.M. <br /> <br />Members present: <br />Frank Nickerson, Pres.; G.A. Bailey, Wm Patenaude, Geo Cornelius, Trustees; <br />Wm H Greupner, Clerk. <br /> <br />The purpose of this meeting was to act on the application of Leslie Leighton and Edward Gammon <br />for an on and off sale non intoxicating malt liquor license, a pool table and bowling alley license and <br />a pin ball machine license. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Gm Greupner, seconded by G.A. Bailey to allow Leslie Leighton and <br />Edward Gammon an “on and off” sale non intoxicating malt liquor license. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Wm H Greupner seconded by Wm Patenaude to allow Leslie Leighton and <br />Edward Gammon license to operate pool tables and bowling alleys. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Wm Patenaude seconded by Geo Cornelius to grant a license to Leslie <br />Leighton and Edward Gammon to operate a pin ball machine. <br /> <br />No further business meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />Wm.
