<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />July 13, 1936 <br /> <br />The special meeting of the Village Council was held at the Municipal Bldg Monday July 13, 1936 at <br />8:00 o’clock P.M. <br /> <br />Members present: <br />J.D. Flaherty, Pres.; G.A. Bailey, Geo Cornelius, Wm Patenaude, Trustees; <br />Wm H Greupner, Clerk. <br /> <br />The purpose of this meeting was to open bids that the Village had called for on a centrifical pump. <br />The following bids were presented <br />R.B. Witacre and Co 375.00 <br />Fairbanks Morse Co 376.00 <br /> <br />After going over the matter thoroughly with the representative of each company a motion was made <br />by G.A. Bailey seconded by Geo Cornelius to purchase the Deau Hill Pump thru R.B. Whitacre and <br />Co Jobbers for Deau Hill Pump Co. <br /> <br />No further business meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />Wm. H.
