If appointed, Mr. Iverson’s term would begin immediately and expire <br />on February 28, 2023. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />The Energy City Commission has vacancies for two representatives meeting one of the following <br />requirements: <br />a) Energy related business (can include consultants, manufacturers, technology, environmental, energy <br />producers and/or energy providers); <br />b) Commercial or residential customers (representatives must receive at least one city service – water, <br />sewer, trash collection, or electric delivery; or <br />c) Nonprofit organizations (can include schools, youth organizations, or business organizations as <br />determined by the city council). <br /> <br />Mr. Iverson does receive electric delivery from Elk River Municipal Utilities. <br /> <br />The positions have been advertised per the Advisory Board and Commission Policy and will continue to be <br />advertised until filled. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />N/A <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> Iverson Application <br /> <br /> <br />The Elk River Vision <br />A welcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional <br />service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity <br />
