UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO:FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Michelle Canterbury– Executive Administrative Manager <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />March 10, 2020 6.1g <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> As part of our ongoing marketing efforts to promote renewable energy and increased <br />participation in the Residential Clean Energy Choice Program, a promotional flyerwill go <br />out withthe March billing statements, along with2019 Annual Report.Attachedis a <br />copy of thebillinsert. <br /> <br />Marchsocial media postswillfeature a variety of topics including: the 2019 Annual <br />nd <br />Report, 72 anniversary of the ERMU power plant independently providing power, <br />Residential Clean Energy Choice, ERMU Scholarship Program, American Public Power <br />Association’s Legislative Rally, 4 Ways to Go GreenthisSt. Patrick’s Day, Fix a Leak <br />Week,and what to do with your excesstrash. Staff will also be posting public service <br />announcements such as the date and time of the upcoming commission meeting, <br />Daylight Saving Time beginning, and the Information Technology / Operational <br />Technology Technician job opening. We will also be introducing the newest addition to <br />the ERMU team. <br /> <br /> The ERMU website overhaul initiative continues to progress as planned. We are <br />currently in stage 2 of the web development process which is the design stage. Staff is <br />scheduled to meet with the design team at Prime Advertising & Design on March 11 for <br />the homepage mock reveal. A copywriting interview will also be conducted at that time. <br /> <br /> I recently attended my third session of the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association <br />FirstLine Supervision Training held February 19 - 21 in Plymouth, MN.
