UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING TO:FROM: ERMU Commission Michelle Canterbury– Executive Administrative Manager MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: March 10, 2020 6.1g SUBJECT: Staff Update ACTION REQUESTED: None DISCUSSION: As part of our ongoing marketing efforts to promote renewable energy and increased participation in the Residential Clean Energy Choice Program, a promotional flyerwill go out withthe March billing statements, along with2019 Annual Report.Attachedis a copy of thebillinsert. Marchsocial media postswillfeature a variety of topics including: the 2019 Annual nd Report, 72 anniversary of the ERMU power plant independently providing power, Residential Clean Energy Choice, ERMU Scholarship Program, American Public Power Association’s Legislative Rally, 4 Ways to Go GreenthisSt. Patrick’s Day, Fix a Leak Week,and what to do with your excesstrash. Staff will also be posting public service announcements such as the date and time of the upcoming commission meeting, Daylight Saving Time beginning, and the Information Technology / Operational Technology Technician job opening. We will also be introducing the newest addition to the ERMU team. The ERMU website overhaul initiative continues to progress as planned. We are currently in stage 2 of the web development process which is the design stage. Staff is scheduled to meet with the design team at Prime Advertising & Design on March 11 for the homepage mock reveal. A copywriting interview will also be conducted at that time. I recently attended my third session of the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association FirstLine Supervision Training held February 19 - 21 in Plymouth, MN. The topics included: Giving Needs-Based Feedback, Speaking to Influence Others, Generations in the Workplace – Leveraging Age Diversity, and Customer Relations.
