Recognize the promotion of Detective Eric Balabon to the position of Juvenile Detective Sergeant <br />effective March 2, 2020. <br />2. Mayor Dietz to administer the oath of office to Detective Eric Balabon. <br />Background/Discussion <br />Detective Balabon has been with the department since 1996 where he started out as a patrol officer. <br />Assigned as a School Resource Officer in 2005 he has become a fixture in the schools and has developed <br />a fantastic relationship with school administrators and staff alike.
