<br /> <br />e <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 93 - 70 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE POLLING LOCATIONS FOR VOTING <br />WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Supreme Court decision in February, 1993, moved the <br />congressional line that divided Congressional <br />Districts 6 and 8 within the City of Elk River; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the Supreme Court decision, the City <br />of Elk River, in its entirety, is located in <br />Congressional District 8; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the removal of the congressional line has resulted in <br />the elimination of all precinct boundary lines; and, <br /> <br />W!lEREAS, <br /> <br />the Elk River City Council adopted Ordinance 93- 12 <br />which redescribes the City's existing Ward lines~ <br />show the elimination of the precinct boundary lines; <br />and, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the removal of precinct boundary lines <br />in Elk River, new polling places have been determined. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the polling locations for <br />the City of Elk River are as follows: <br /> <br />WARD 1 - ELK RIVER CITY HALL <br />13065 Orono Parkway <br /> <br />WARD 2 - MEADOWVALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br />12701 Elk Lake Road <br /> <br />WARD 3 - ELK RIVER AREA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL <br />900 School Street <br /> <br />WARD 4 - LINCOLN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br />600 School Street <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />this 25th day of October, 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />a/J~~~_ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />· ~/Z;'r~ft~( <br /> <br />A.
