<br />Special Meeting of the <br />Heritage Preservation Commission <br />Held at Elk River City Hall <br />Thursday, July 25, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br />Members Present: Chair Debra Mortensen (6:15 p.m.), Tony Mauren, and Lance <br />Lindberg <br /> <br />Members Absent: Vice-Chair Joshua Fox, Commissioner Griffiths <br /> <br />Others Present: Senior Planner Chris Leeseberg; Council Liaison Jennifer Wagner <br /> <br /> <br />1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Heritage Preservation <br />Commission was called to order at 6:17 p.m. by Chair Mortensen. <br /> <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />3. Consider July 25, 2019, Agenda <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Mauren and seconded by Commissioner Lindberg <br />to approve the July 25, 2019, agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />4. Minutes of April 18, 2019, meeting <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Mauren and seconded by Commissioner Lindberg <br />to approve the April 18, 2019, HPC meeting minutes. <br /> <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />5.1 Jackson Street Water Tower <br /> <br />Mr. Leeseberg updated the commission the preliminary ??? was submitted earlier in <br />the day to the state historical society for initial comments. He indicated the final ??? <br />needs to be submitted by September 13, 2019 and the city should know the results <br />by mid-November. <br /> <br />5.2 Discuss Website Article <br /> <br />Mr. Leeseberg noted because of Vice-Chair Fox’s absence, there would be no update <br />
