UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO: FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Jennie Nelson Customer Service Manager <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />January 14, 2020 4.2 <br />SUBJECT: <br />Employee Recognition Workgroup Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Clarification on acceptable scope of recognition items <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the November 2019 commission meeting, the commission approved a new plan to recognize <br />certain milestones for employees by allowing them to choose from different items within <br />specified dollar amounts. The Public Purchase Expenditures Policy was also updated to reflect <br />the changes and is attached for your reference. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br />The Employee Recognition Workgroup has been working with one local vendor to put together <br />, bags, <br />hats, etc. The Workgroup has been getting strong feedback from employees that one of the <br />options they would like to choose from would be a local restaurant or business gift card. <br /> this back <br />to the commission to make sure there is consensus to include this as an option. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />There would be no additional financial impact. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> ERMU Policy G.4i6 Public Purpose Expenditures for reference only <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />59 <br />
