<br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94 -~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />TO CHANGE THE LAND USE FROM <br />LI (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) TO <br />MR (MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />CASE NO. LUA 94-6 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, <br />prescribes the procedure, for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 26, <br />1994, and recommended that given the general nature of the land use plan map, <br />a comprehensive land use plan amendment is not necessary for the property <br />legally described as: That part of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 32, <br />Township 33, Range 26, Sherburne County, MN, lying south of Orono Parkway <br />extension (182nd Avenue), <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan <br />amendment request and finds the change to be in general conformance to the <br />adopted Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Elk River that the Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as <br />described above from LI (Light Industrial) to MR (Medium Density Residential). <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 15th day of August, <br />1994. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />d..P_O.~ <br /> <br />Sandra A.
