of <br />a <br />ver <br />Councilmember Westgaard <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 19- 50 <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging <br />Contributions <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $4,400.00 donation from Flag Runners of <br />Elk River with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for the <br />installation and maintenance of a city park flag pole. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the Flag Runners of Elk River for their <br />donation. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Wagner , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof - <br />Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson, Westgaard, Ovall, and Wagner <br />and the following against: none , whereupon said <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />The following members wereppresent: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson, <br />Westgaard, Ovall, and 'bfagner <br />and the following absent: none <br />Passed and adopted this 21" day of October 2019. <br />ATTEST: <br />r <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />*J(nj. <br />tz, N yor <br />PO■EAE® B1 <br />NATURE <br />
