<br />e <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 95-50 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION 'VAIVING THE THIRTY DAY WAITING PERIOD <br />FOR AN EXEMPTION TO LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE <br />REQUESTED BY THE ELK RIVER ZIMMERMAN WOMEN OF <br />TODAY FOR AUGUST 26, 1995 <br /> <br />'WHEREAS, the City Council approves an Exemption from Lawful <br />Gambling License for the Elk River Zimmerman Women of <br />Today; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Exemption v.ill allow the Women of Today to hold a raffle <br />in conjunction with the Luck Duck Days event to be held on <br />August 26, 1995; and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Zimmerman \Vomen of Today have requested <br />tba.t the City Council waivetbe 30 day waiting period given <br />to the local unit of government in which to deny or approve <br />the activity. <br /> <br />NO"V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Elk River City Council <br />hereby waives the 30 day waiting period for the Exemption <br />from Lawful Gambling License requested by the Elk River <br />Zimmerman Women of Today for the Lucky Duck Days event <br />to be held on August 26, 1995. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Elk Rivet City Council this 21st day of August, <br />1995. <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> <br />~~&~~ <br /> <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />s: \documen t\resolut \exempt.doc <br />
