Staff had <br />prepared two options for the Planning Commission to consider, including allowing fabric <br />structures in the larger lot districts and the Planning Commission's recommendation was <br />that fabric structures should not be allowed anywhere within the residential districts within <br />the City of Elk River. At that time, former Councilmember Tveite indicated that he felt <br />fabric accessory structures should be allowed in agricultural areas. <br /> <br />Staff has now been approached by a local farmer who has purchased a fabric accessory <br />structure for the purpose of storing hay on his farm. <br /> <br />Planning Department Mission: the orderly development of a livable and sustainable Elk River community. <br />
