<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />April 2, 1962 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The town board met in regular session with all members present. <br /> <br />Attendance: \[Not listed\] <br /> <br />The first order of business was a group consisting of John Olson Erwin Specht and Toby Dietz who <br />were present to request some improvements in the South East part of Elk River township. <br /> <br />Mr. and Mrs. Ellwyn Hamlett met with the board in regard to whether they can sell their land for <br />various purposes. Hamlett asked if the Board would allow a smelter to melt down metal and cars. <br />There didn’t seem to be any objection if he only stored 2 or 3 cars then burned and disposed of <br />them. <br /> <br /> <br />Poor Fund <br />2.
