<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />October 6, 1961 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The town board of Elk River township met to let bids for the black topping of the road to the <br />Cargill farm. <br /> <br />Attendance: \[Not listed\] <br /> <br />At the time of the opening of the bids only two bids were received. One from McGarrys and one <br />from McCrossan. Earl Schulke moved that the Clerk open the bid Seconded by E Specht. Motion <br />carried. McCrosan \[sic\] bid was as follows $5,203.50. McGarry submitted a bid of $3,578.00. It was <br />moved by E. Specht that the Certified Check of C.S. McCrosan \[sic\] company in the amt. of 5203.50 <br />be released. The check after letting was returned to Duane Carlson Secretary Treasurer of Company. <br />Motion was carried. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned <br /> <br />E. V Rathbun <br />Clerk. <br />
