<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />September 21, 1961 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A Special meeting was called by the chairman Earl Schulke. <br /> <br />Attendance: \[Not listed\] <br /> <br />The purpose was to discuss the matter of coating the Cargill road with a Hot Mix tar. The County <br />Engineer Jerry Spencer appeared to help with the specifications required. It was decided to publish <br />notices for the next two weeks for bids <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned <br />E. Rathbun <br /> <br />Earl Schulke made a motion that the board go on record as favoring blacktoping \[sic\] Cargill road. <br />Seconded by Mel Peterson carried. <br />
