Councilmember Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 19- 42 <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging <br />Contributions <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River raised $4,247 from a liquor store fundraiser and silent <br />auction. Silent auction items were donated from Coors, Dahlheimer Distributing, and the <br />public with the intent of money raised to be used by the Elk River Fire Department for the <br />purchase of thermal imaging and detoxifying equipment for their gear. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Coors, Dahlheimer Distributing, and the <br />public for their donations. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Christianson , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers, Wagner, Christianson. Westgaard, and 0va11 <br />and the following against: none , whereupon said <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />The following members were present: riayor Dietz.
