City Map <br /> <br />Analysis <br /> <br />The City Council is asked to consider zone changes for nine parcels within the City of Elk <br />River in order to bring the Land Use Map and Zoning Map into consistency with each other. <br />This zone change will not include parcels within the Commercial Reserve nor the Old Town <br />land use area. Each of these areas requires new official controls to be drafted prior to <br />changes in the Zoning Map. <br /> <br />The attached public hearing notice details each change in zoning by parcel. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Action <br /> <br />The Planning Commission considered this request at its May 24, 2005 meeting. No one <br />spoke at the public hearing. The Planning Commission wanted to further study Parcel 6 <br />(1870 and 1860 Meadowvale Road, from R3, Townhome District to 11, Light Industrial) and <br />Parcel 8 (east of Upland Avenue, north of County Road 1, west of Proctor Avenue and <br /> <br />Planning Department Mission: the orderly development of a livable and sustainable Elk River community. <br />
