<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE BOARD OF REVIEW HELD IN THE <br />VILLAGE OFFICE BUILDING <br /> <br />May 30, 1973 at 8:00 PM. <br /> <br />The Elk River Village Council met as a Board of Review at 8:00 PM. May 30, 1973 <br />members were present as follows: Mayor Hilmer Bartelt, Councilmen Clifford Lundberg, <br />Tom Hudson, Robert Syring, and Robert Otto. Dale Palmer, Sherburne County Assessor <br />and Glenn Powell member of the County Assessors Staff were in attendance. <br /> <br />The following property owners met with the Board of Review for the purpose of entering <br />their complaints as to having been unjustly valuated. <br />The Board met with each individual separately in the order as listed: <br />Lawrence Westholter- 953 Proctor Ave. <br />Leo F. Carey Sr. - 1175 5th Street <br />C.E. Pink - 936 Main Street <br />Leonard Kokett- Irving Ave. <br />Leonard Eiden - 604-6th Street <br />Dean Baily - 1217-5th Street <br />Roger Hanson - 1520 Meadowvale Road <br />Herbert Johnson - 520-3rd St. <br /> <br />It was concluded by the Board of Review that these valuations were fairly valued and <br />no changes were made with the exceptions of Roger Hanson. <br /> <br />Roger Hanson, Valuation was reviewed and it was concluded by the Board of Review that <br />due to the fact that his house is the only house in the area and that it is surronded <br />by the tile factory thus restricting his re-sale market value as residential property. <br />The County Assessor will take another look at this property for the purpose of <br />re-valuating. <br /> <br />No further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:45 PM. <br /> <br />~... <br /> <br /> <br />(~:() <br />
