<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RIDULAR SEMI-MONTHLY ~lEETING OF THE <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ELK RIVER <br />HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE VILLAGE OFFICE BLDG. <br /> <br />February 19, 1973 at 7:30 pm. <br /> <br />The regular semi-monthly meeting of the Elk River Village Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Bartelt on February 19, 1973 at 7:30 pm. in the Council Chambers <br />of the Village Office Building. Members were present as follows: lVlayor Bartelt, <br />Councilmen Lundberg, Otto and Syring. <br /> <br />The minutes of the February 5, 1973 regular meeting and the February 13, 1973 <br />Special Meeting were delivered. All members received and read the minutes there were <br />no additions or corrections and the minutes were approved as printed. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Syring and seconded by Councilman Otto to approve the list of <br />Municipal Liquor Store bills for payment as listed. Motion unanimously carried <br />by a vote of 3-0. A copy of this list is attached. <br /> <br />The Council approved the sale of the old snow plow (blade) to the Sherburne <br />County Highway Department. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Lundberg and seconded by Councilman Syring approving the <br />$75.00 per month Standby pay to the Police Department with the following stipulations <br />that a monthly duty roster schedule be made up to include each mans regular <br />shift hours and the Standby hours, and that these Standby hours be spread equally <br />among all personel. The monthly duty roster schedule must be submitted inadvance <br />to the Elk River Village Council not later than the 2nd scheduled regular Council <br />meeting of each month for Village Council approval. Each man that is scheduled <br />for standby the patrol car must be parked at his place of residence. Standby is <br />defined as follows those hours that are not regular scheduled duty hours, the <br />standby hours worked are to be deducted from the $75.00 to be figured by using the <br />mans hourly rate of pay times the hours of standby worked. Motion unanimously carried <br />by a vote of 3-0. (effective March 1, 1973) <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Syring and seconded by Councilman Otto to terminate the <br />dispatching services by Mrs. Della Olson at her place of residence for the <br />Elk River Police Department to be effective February 20, 1973.
