The conference is being held August 19 - 21, 2019, at <br />Breezy Point Resort in Breezy Point, Minnesota. Please let me know as soon as possible <br />if you are interested in attending the conference so I can register you for the event and <br />reserve rooms. If you are interested in participating in the golf tournament or bike ride, I <br />will need to know that as well. Attached for reference is the conference brochure. <br />The annual commissioner self -evaluation will be conducted during the July 9 <br />commission meeting. Questions for the evaluation will be sent out in advance via Survey <br />Monkey. Staff anticipates sending out a link to the survey towards the end of June. <br />Inserts for the June billings include Clean Energy Choice for Business and a How to Read <br />Your Bill flyer. The Customer Service Department and Communications Department <br />worked with NISC to develop the How to Read Your Bill flyer with steps for reading and <br />understanding the new bill format. Prior to the new bill design going out, the <br />Communications Department proactively promoted the benefits of the new layout and <br />design through social media and website blogs. <br />June social media posts will feature a variety of topics including: recognition of ERMU's <br />Water Department as a finalist for the 2019 Source Water Protection Award; an <br />introduction to new employees and announcing employee promotions; summer energy <br />conservation tips; ERMU's safety culture; and promotion of the new Clean Energy <br />Choice for Business. <br />The Communications Department and Technical Services Superintendent worked <br />together to create a new door hanger that will be used as part of our notification <br />process when entering onto property to access our equipment. The door hanger was <br />intentionally designed to be multi -functional and work for a variety of purposes that <br />may require us to enter onto a customer's property. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />75 <br />
