RESOLUTION 97- 73 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE SPECIAL <br /> CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 23, 1997 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there will be a special election held on September 23, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the special election is an election calling for the issuance of $2,000,000 of <br />general obligation bonds of the City for public park and recreational <br />facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 204B.21(2) the City Council shall appoint <br /> election judges for four wards within the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />all election judges appointed by the City Council are qualified to be <br />trained election judges and are certified by the county Auditor as trained <br />election judges. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, <br /> Minnesota, that the following persons be appointed as election judges to <br /> serve at the special election on September 23, 1997. <br /> <br />Gloria Hinkle <br />Joan Warden <br />Linda Lee <br />Gladys Olmsted <br />Marge Kampa <br />Lola Dreissen <br />Ruth McCartney <br />Cheryll Edinger <br /> <br />Ann Palmer <br />Ardelle Dahlin <br />Darlene Oberg <br />Elaine Gruys <br />Gene Schulde <br />Gladys Olmsted <br />Linda Lee <br />Margaret Davis <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Election Judges shall be paid for hours spent in <br />training and for hours worked at the following rates: <br /> <br />Chief Election Judges - $7.00/Hr. <br />Asst.
