City Council was receptive to a new dock location and directed staff to take this <br />discussion to the Parks and Recreation Commission on May 8 for consideration. <br /> <br />A new location different than the Rivers Edge Commons Park master plan dock location has been found <br />with calmer waters on city property adjacent to the park directly behind McCoy’s Iris Pub. City resident <br />Shannon Tatro met with city staff to discuss the dock concepts and potential fundraising. Shannon will <br />attend the Commission meeting on May 8 to discuss his passion for boating and funding ideas. <br /> <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />Design, construction and site preparation as well as ongoing maintenance inspection and placement need <br />to be considered. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> Rivers Edge Commons Park Dock City Council May 6 Staff Report
