The picnic pavilion <br />for Lion John Weicht Park (LJWP) is currently being designed to meet bidding deadlines. This is a picnic <br />pavilion planned to accommodate up to 100 people while the WTRP pavilion would hold 50 people. The <br />WTRP pavilion has a budget of $125,000. <br /> <br />The consensus from the joint meeting was for the LJWP to have the following design elements: <br /> <br /> Steel Frame Poligon Chelsea Pavilion style <br /> Steel roof with wood underlayment <br /> Red color roof to match Rivers Edge Commons Park gazebo. <br /> Rock veneer on columns up to four feet to match city’s wayfinding rock <br /> Serving counter with electric outlets for crock pots <br /> Interior lighting with sensor and timer for night activities <br /> <br />It was discussed that the Parks and Recreation Commission should discuss a standard picnic pavilion <br />design.
