<br /> <br /> <br />*Item 3 .ll~ <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br /> <br />DATE: June 6, 2005 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Excluded Bingo Request <br /> <br />The Elk River Rogers VFW #5518 Auxiliary has made application for authorization to conduct <br />excluded bingo July 4, 2005 at Orono Park. Although this application is made to the State Gambling <br />Control Board, the City must approve the application prior to State approval. <br /> <br />An excluded bingo license means that the applicant will hold no more than 4 bingo events during <br />the year or in connection with a county fair or a civic celebration on 12 or fewer consecutive days in <br />a calendar year. This request is for the 4th of July Celebration. <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />The City Council is asked to approve an Excluded Bingo request from the Elk River Rogers VFW <br />#5518 Auxiliary to conduct excluded bingo at Orono Park on July 4, 2005. <br />
