MN <br />WHY DID EMPLOYEE CHOOSE TO ATTEND? Recommended by General Mgr. <br />Also to learn the design methods used by today's standards in the layout and <br />operations of underground distribution systems. <br />WHAT INFORMATION WAS LEARNED BY ATTENDING? We learned about easements <br />and we must obtain formal easments. For obtaining grant money we should try to piggyback with <br />other utilities. Mandate conversion to urd to other facilities in pole attachment aggreements. <br />Cooper's oil freezes in storage? Low bid transformers results in higher operating costs. We also <br />went over the NESC for underground systems. It is code that whenever you cut a cable you must <br />maintain neutral continuity. Also we must have an inspection program and record defects. <br />After closing in on a fault, you must throw away all components involved. Gye /!fo men!
