<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />November 3, 1956 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The town board met at the court house as usual with all members present. <br /> <br />Attendance: \[Not listed\] <br /> <br />Oscar Engstrom had a talk with a contractor about the Lutz road and the contractor promised to try <br />and get at it this fall if Possible and if Not next spring for sure. Everett Rathbun and Orville Bernard <br />made two trips to the Ramsey town board meetings to try and work out a road between Hanks <br />Corner and the Leathers poultry farm. The Ramsey board felt they were in no financial condition to <br />do any work this year. So the matter was tabled. <br /> <br />A Mr. Bondus met with the board to get a Permit to build a business West of Elk River.
