<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />April 18, 1956 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The town board met at the Court house in special meeting at 8 o’clock at the Court house. <br /> <br />Present: \[not listed\] <br /> <br />Mr. Cole was here to propose a change in the road that would be practical so the pond owned by <br />Mr. Brown would not be disturbed. <br /> <br />The change was as follows: The road would follow the line between Oberg and Hartfelder from <br />Gliddens east line to a point where it meets the property of Al Brown. There it would follow the <br />South and East of brown’s land till it Joins the gravel road. All this land to be purchased from <br />August Oberg on his land. at the rate of $200. dollars an acre. August Oberg agreed to the above <br />change and will the sell the necessary land for the road. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned <br /> <br />Everett Rathbun <br />Clerk. <br />
