No additions or corrections. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Hudson and seconded by CoUncilman Konop, authorizing the <br />Liquor Store Manager to purchase a Wet-Dry Vacuum Cleaner, cost $200.00. Motion <br />unaminously carried. <br /> <br />Moved by Counclhlman Hudson and seconded by Councilmml Syring, authorizing pay- <br />ment of back taxes ~ payable for the" years 1967, 1968 and 1969 <br />and the current tax p~able in 1970, total amount $1,186.52, due on the Mattie <br />Millhouse property on Jackson Avenue pending final sale of the property to the <br />village. Motion unUlinously carried. <br /> <br />Agreeable to charge off the following sanitary sewer bills: Cliff Bergstrom <br />$7.50, Jim Gallati $15.75, Norman Larson $18.75 and GTe Auto Parts $2.00. <br /> <br />Discussion on the problem of truck parking in the MUnicipal Parking lot across <br />from Adams Furniture. Suggested that we us e our proprietory rights as a owner <br />ani limit parlcing to vehicles up to and incluciing a 3/4 ton pickup. Atter <br />discussion, moved by Councilman Syringmd secOnded by Councilmml Hudson ito <br />prohibit overnight parking in the Municipal Parking Lot across from Adams <br />Furniture for commercial vehicles. Motion unarninously carried. <br /> <br />Agreeable to have the Village Attorney draw upa ordinance to control abandoned <br />vehciles. <br /> <br />"Discussiori on the problem.'of "trucks, parking in the downtown area. Agreeable <br />to get a proposal from the Chamber of Commerce Businessmen Retail Committee <br />on how to regulat~. <br /> <br />John MacGibbon reported that he is in the p'rocess of reorganizing th~ villages <br />. , <br />86 ordinances in to about 20 different categories so that they can be indexed <br />and wheI1 information is needed, it can be more easily found. Agreeable with <br />the Council. MacGibbon will bring a chapter or. two to each future meeting and <br />the ordinances will be reviewed for consolidation, deletion. or additions. - <br /> <br />Moved .by Councilman Syring ~d seconded by Councilman Hudson, to adopt Ordinance <br />No. 86, an ordinance amerding Ordinance #78 regarding regulation of sn owmobiles. <br />Motion un;minously carried. <br /> <br />Discussion on the brush at the new school 'site. Agreeable, <br />to allow the contractor to haul to the dump based on a <br />$3.00 charge per re~~ar dump truck load.
