No additions or corrections. <br />.~~.. : . <br /> <br />Syring I reported that a Mr. Whalen will be out sometime this month to look over <br />the area above the liquor store and give a plumbing and heating cost estimate. <br /> <br />Harry Dreissig reported that he has been' ,asked to attend a meeting with ,the <br />Molllticello and Aibertville Fire Department.s regarding increased rates for fire <br />runs in Otsego Township. Tentative figures were $250.00 yearly retainer, $150.00 <br />for the first hour and $100.00 for each additional hour. It was the councils <br />opinion at this tiJile, not to raise our present-rates to conforJl! with the Monticello <br />Al~ertville proposed rates. <br /> <br />. Jean <br />Pool from General Communications will be contacted for his recommendations. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Hudson and segonded by Syring, to send a resolution in <br />support of the split liquor bill USe&roge Grant, Rep. Bob Dunn and the .League <br />of Minn. Municipalities. Motion carried. A copy of tM resolution is attached. <br /> <br />Discussion on the February meeting of the Sherliurne County Civil De1lense. <br />it was reported that Federal nDney is available for snow rem val, floods etc., <br />if 11Dney has been budgeted and expenditures exceed b1Xlgeted money. Civil Defense <br />expenditures can be reimbursed if loss is over $1,000.00; best to combine it with <br />the county for reimbursement under $1,000.00. <br /> <br />A motion vas made by McRae and seconded by Hudson, to purchase 1000 sandbags to <br />augment the aproximately 1000 bags new onhand.
