RESOLUTION 97-63 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />DECLARING THE SALE OF CITY PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Elk River City Council has received a request from the <br />adjacent landowner to purchase property described in Exhibit <br />A; and, <br /> <br />the City has reviewed the request and has determined the sale <br />of said property would not be in conflict with the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined the purchase price to be five hundred <br />dollars and no cents ($500.00). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br />of Elk River, Minnesota approve the sale of property to Morrell Transfer <br />based on the following: <br /> <br />The sale of described property is to assist in facilitating industrial <br />development. <br /> <br />The property is considered a remnant from the improvements to 171st <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />3. A twenty-five (25) foot green space be preserved along 171st Avenue. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The sale price has been determined to be five hundred dollars and no <br />cents ($500.00). <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The sale is contingent upon Morrell Transfer proceeding with <br />development of the site along 171st Avenue. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River on this 21st <br /> <br />day of July, 1997. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />/'-~Henry A.
