<br />. <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the iillage Council <br /> <br />The regular monthly meeting of the Village Vouncil was <br />held at the Council room of the ~unicipal Bld'g on <br />tuesday July ,th~1~32- <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />::Present~- <br /> <br />Donald li.Davis Pres~ <br />Geo~Cornelius <br />C.E.Brown Trustees:- <br />Joe Flahert~- <br />W.F.Chadbourne Clerk:_ <br /> <br />Yisitors:- L.G.Nelson and Geo~H.Tyler representing the <br />E.R.Power & Light Co ~ ' <br />~eeting called to order by the Pres:at 8.oClock P.M. <br />Minuets of the last regular and spec~al meeting read <br />and on motion approved. <br />A new proposal was presented by th~ E~H.Fower & Light <br />Co~for furnishing Llectricity for the Village was present <br />ed the subject was discussed quite freely.On motion of <br />C.E.Brown trustee the proposition was again tabled b~ <br />a unanimoLAs~ vote of the Council until they have a report <br />from the committe a9pointed to secure an ~ngineer to <br />investigate the situation~Committee having asked for <br />further tim6 which was granted. <br />On motion the sum of 2,.00 was &:ppropriated for' the care <br />of the Houlton ~emorial rark. <br />The sec t y 0 f the :b;lk R:. vel' .Library Ass' n made a very <br />tho~ough report of the condition of affairs in that <br />institution,read and :placed on file. <br />The followinb ladi~b were ap:pointed as trustees to fill <br />vacancies,Y~s.D.W.Lonfellow~~rs.C.W.Guptil~& ~s.R.R.Lata <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />E .R.Power <br />& Light <br />proposal <br />again <br />Tabled <br /> <br />2,.00 <br />for <br />.
