Lead Forensics is a cutting-edge lead generation tool which gives economic developers the
ability to convert anonymous website visitors into tangible names with contact information. The program
went live in January of 2018 and was recently upgraded to offer more report options, a consolidated
dashboard, and detailed company lead information.

The tool provides the contact information of businesses who have viewed the EDA/HRA website either
directly through a web browser (Google or Bing) or a link.

The most popular pages are as follows:
 Available property listings
 Community profile
 News articles
 Partner list
 Business toolkit

The duration spent on the site averages two minutes typically consisting of a couple page views.

With the lead information, staff gauges interest and contacts the business if they appear tangible. The
upgrade also offers the opportunity to purchase credits allowing us to receive more detailed contact
information.

Financial Impact
N/A

Attachments
 January – August Visitor List
 YTD Visitor Statistics

The Elk River Vision
A welcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional
service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity
