Present Were: George Zabee President James Tralle Vice Chairman James Simpson Trustee Others present: Bill Birrenkott General Manager Glenn Sundeen Bob McCartney Terry Maurer Pat Klaers 1) The meeting was called to order at 4: 00 P.M. by President Zabee. 2) Motion by Mr. Simpson seconded by Mr. Tralle to approve the agenda. The motion carried. 3) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Simpson to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as amended. The motion carried. 4) Terry Maurer reported that the new well on the west end has been nearly completed and is producing at a rate greater than anticipated. He recommended that we stay with the original design, however, because that will result in a longer well life. He did recommend that we install a pitless adapter at this time rather than when the pump and treatment is installed next year. This will result in the spending of an additional $15, 000 this year rather than next year. 5) The General Manager reviewed the proposed operating, equipment, and construction budgets with the Commissioners. It was noted that the proposed operating and construction budgets contained provisions for the possibility of three additional linemen in the upcoming year. The addition of personnel will be furthur presented to the Commissioners for furthur approval at a later date when the need becomes critical to the operations. The Commissioners decided that the approval of the budgets will take place at the next regular meeting. 6) The General Manager reported that the first of many areas has been acquired from Anoka Electric Cooperative. It is hoped that most of the scheduled area targeted for takeover will take place before the end of the year. 7) The General Manager reviewed the October financial statements with the Commissioners.
