Present Were: Jim Simpson President George Zabee Trustee Bill Birrenkott General Manager Absent Was: James Tralle Vice Chairman Others Present: Glenn Sundeen Robert McCartney 1) The meeting was called to order at 4: 00 P.M. by President Simpson. 2) Motion by Mr . Zabee, seconded by Mr . Simpson to approve the agenda. The motion carried. 3) Motion by Mr . Zabee, seconded by Mr . Simpson to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as distributed. The motion carried . 4) Motion by Mr . Zabee, seconded by Mr . Simpson to authorize the Construction Reserve fund to be increased to $1,000,000 with monthly deposits of $5 , 000 minimum. The motion carried. 5) A discussion was held regarding the refurbishing of the bucket truck which was budgeted for 1991. Motion by Mr . Zabee, seconded by Mr . Simpson to authorize the staff to proceed with the preparation of specifications and advertising for bids to replace this equipment, with the money to be included in the 1992 budget. The motion carried . 6) Robert McCartney, Water Superintendent, presented the Commissioners with a proposal regarding the assessments for the Proctor Avenue rebuild. Staff was instructed to prepare more information and present it to the Commissioners at the next meeting. 7) The Line Superintendent reported on the status of construction projects and other operating conditions . 8) The General Manager reviewed the May financial reports with the Commissioners . 9) The General Manager was instructed to obtain the cost of having a History of Elk River Utilities prepared. 10) The General Manager reviewed the R.W. Beck coordination study with the Commissioners .
