COMMISSION MEETING <br /> January 9, 1990 <br /> Tuesday 7: 00 P.M. <br /> Present Were: James Tralle President <br /> George Zabee Vice Chairman <br /> Jim Simpson Trustee <br /> Bill Birrenkott General Manager <br /> Others Present: Glenn Sundeen Line Superintendent <br /> 1) The meeting was called to order at 7 : 00 P.M. by President Tralle. <br /> 2) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Tralle to appoint George <br /> Zabee as President, Jim Simpson as Vice Chairman and Mr . Tralle <br /> as Trustee for 1990 . Motion carried. <br /> 3) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Tralle to approve the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting as presented and distributed. <br /> The motion carried . <br /> 4) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Tralle to authorize the <br /> General Manager to approach City Administrator to amend ordinance <br /> to encompass home security systems. Motion carried . <br /> 5) Six quotations for a new pick-up truck were evaluated. Motion by <br /> Mr . Tralle, seconded by Mr . Simpson to purchase the specified <br /> vehicle from Elk River Ford in the amount of $13, 937. Motion <br /> carried . <br /> 6) The Line Superintendent reviewed the status of construction <br /> projects and operations with the commissioners . <br /> 7) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Zabee to charge off the <br /> list of customers which will be attached to and become a part of <br /> these minutes. Motion carried . <br /> 8) The next meeting was set for Tuesday, February 13, 1990 at <br /> 7: 00 P.M. <br /> 9) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Zabee to adjourn. Motion <br /> carried.
