The Motion carried. <br /> 3) Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Simpson to approve the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting. The motion carried. <br /> 4) The General Manager reported on the status of negotiations <br /> regarding the Clinkscales Trust property. <br /> 5) Terry Maurer reported that the following Bids were received for <br /> Well #5 which will be located at the new water tower in <br /> Hillside Estates: <br /> Mark J Traut Wells $102,940 <br /> E.H. Renner & Sons $129,695 <br /> Layne Minnesota $131,630 <br /> Bergerson-Casswell $152,705 <br /> The Engineer recommended that we accept the low bid submitted <br /> by Mark J Traut Wells. Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. <br /> Simpson that the contract for Well #5 be awarded to Mark J. <br /> Traut Wells in the amount of $102,940. The motion carried. <br /> 6) The General Manager reviewed a billing situation with Elk River <br /> Machine. The Commissioners expressed a desire to respond by <br /> letter to Elk River Machine. <br /> 7 ) The Line Superintendent updated the Commissioners on the status <br /> of construction projects and other operating conditions. <br /> 9) Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Simpson, to approve the <br /> check register. <br />
