<br /> <br />OMembers present <br /> <br />REGULAR SEMI-MONTHLY MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF ELK RIVER <br />HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE CITY OFFICE BLDG. <br /> <br />October 4, 1976 at 7:30 PM. <br /> <br />Mayor Lundberg, Councilmembers Syring, Otto, Hudson and Konop. <br /> <br />The minutes of the September 20, 1976 meeting were reviewed as there were no additions <br />or corrections the minutes were approved as printed. <br /> <br />The Council reviewed the new fire class rate change from a Class 7 to a Class 6 for the <br />City of Elk River the rate reduction was a welcomed change. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Syring approving the new letterhead <br />design for the Cities stationery. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 5-0. <br /> <br />The Council reviewed the 1977 budget by departments. Total budget approximately $350,000. <br />Which is an increase over last year by $20,000.00 Final approval of the 1977 budget will <br />be October le, 1976. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Hudson approving and granting <br />the variance from Lewis Haberman regarding a variance from the ordinance on minimum lot <br />size at 405 Rush Ave. Elk River as recommended by the Planning Commission. Motion <br />unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. Mayor Lundberg obstained because he is preforming <br />some legal service for Mr. Haberman. <br /> <br />No further business the meeting adjourned at 9:36 PM. <br /> <br />?) <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />o <br />
