ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL UTILITIES <br /> REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br /> ELK RIVER UTILITIES COMMISSION <br /> HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY OFFICES <br /> SEPTEMBER 7, 1999 <br /> Members Present: President, James Tralle; Vice Chairman, John Dietz; Trustee, George <br /> Zabee <br /> Staff Present: Bryan Adams, General Manager; Glenn Sundeen, Line Superintendent; <br /> Robert McCartney, Water Superintendent; Patricia Hemza, Office Manager <br /> 1. Call meeting to order at 4:00 P.M., September 7, 1999 <br /> 2, Consider Utilities Agenda <br /> John Dietz moved to approve the Utilities Agenda, with two up-dates by Bryan <br /> Adams, to be discussed under Other Business. George Zabee seconded the <br /> motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> 3. Consider Consent Agenda <br /> George Zabee moved to approve the Consent Agenda as follows: <br /> 8-10-99 Minutes <br /> August Check Register <br /> Financials <br /> John Dietz seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> 5.1 Review and Consider Bids for Water Main Project <br /> Bryan discussed the bids for the Water Main Installation at Main and 5th St. <br /> George Zabee moved to award the low bid for the Water Main Installation to <br /> Brenteson Construction. John Dietz seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> 5.2 Review and Consider Bids for Electrical Installation Project <br /> The results of the Bidding were discussed. Due to the large amount of <br /> construction available and difficult construction schedule, lack of bidders, <br /> resulted in higher than expected costs. <br /> George Zabee moved to accept the bid from Schroeder Construction for the <br /> Electrical Conductor Installation at Trott Brook Farms. James Tralle seconded <br /> the motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br />
