Cargill <br /> currently owns about 980 acres of land around the farm complex. The ANC is <br /> used by Cargill to research animal nutrition including swine, dairy and beef <br /> research as well as feed ingredient preservation. In 1995 the City approved a <br /> conditional use permit for a feedlot.
