Unfortunately,with the recent addition to my family and <br /> my position as the Brooklyn Park City Engineer, I have found it increasingly difficult to fulfill my <br /> duties as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Elk River. While I truly enjoy my position on the <br /> Commission, I cannot continue to serve and still meet the obligations firstly to my family and <br /> secondly to my employer. I,therefore,am tendering my resignation from the Planning Commission <br /> effective September 30, 1999. <br /> • I am aware that there were three applicants for the current vacancy on the Commission. It is my <br /> hope that one of these applicants would be suited to fill the vacancy created by my resignation. <br /> It has been a pleasure serving on the Planning Commission for the past nearly three years.
