Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Heritage Preservation <br /> Commission was called to order at 6:06 p.m. by Commissioners Mortensen. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> 3. Consider January 19, 2017, Agenda <br /> Moved by Commissioner Lindberg and seconded by Commissioner Jordan to <br /> approve the January 19, 2017, agenda. <br /> Motion carried 3-0. <br /> 4. Consent Agenda <br /> 4.1 October 20, 2016, HPC Minutes <br /> Moved by Commissioner Lindberg and seconded by Commissioner <br /> Mortensen to approve the October 20, 2016, minutes. <br /> Motion carried 3-0. <br /> 5.1 Jackson Street Water Tower Project <br /> Mr. Carlton and Commissioner Mortensen provided an overview of the project <br /> condition assessment, repair work, painting,grant process, and establishing the <br /> 501(c)(3). Commissioner Mortensen progress update on the articles of incorporation <br /> and the bylaws. She has created a press release for the city paper to gain participation <br /> in the group. The hope is to have participants and legal documents in place by the <br /> painting of the water tower. <br />
