---fir <br /> Item#'s5.5, 5.6. & 5.7. <br /> FAkof ' MEMORANDUM <br /> Ri• <br /> ver TO: Planning Commission <br /> FROM: Steve Ach, City Planne_>— <br /> DATE: June 24, 1997 <br /> SUBJECT: Request by CPDC for Zone Change, <br /> Conditional Use Permit and Pre- <br /> liminary Plat Approval, Public <br /> Hearing Case No. ZC 97-1, CU 97-11 <br /> and P 97-8 <br /> Overview <br /> The developers were unable to submit the revised plans to staff in time to <br /> prepare a full report on the proposed Trott Brook Farms planned unit <br /> development. Therefore, at Tuesday night's meeting, the developers will be <br /> present, along with their engineers, to once again make a presentation before <br /> • the Planning Commission to discuss the most recent changes to the plans and <br /> receive any comments the Commission may have at this point. Attached are <br /> the most recent development plans for the proposed Trott Brook Farms. <br /> Following Tuesday night's meeting, a special meeting should be scheduled to <br /> take action on the proposed development plans. A date the Commission may <br /> wish to consider is July 8th which is the Planning Commission workshop. <br /> Calling the special meeting on this date will still allow the developers to <br /> make their initial presentation before the City Council on July 21st and come <br /> back to the Council on August 18th for the Council's final action on the <br /> preliminary plat. <br /> Recommendation <br /> It is recommended the Planning Commission review the attached <br /> preliminary plat for Trott Brook Farms and be prepared at Tuesday night's <br /> meeting to ask any questions or express any concerns so the developers can <br /> revise their plans accordingly for the next presentation to the Planning <br /> Commission. Secondly, it is recommended the rezoning, conditional use <br /> permit and preliminary plat applications be postponed for any action until <br /> the July 8th special meeting of the Planning Commission.
