Elk River <br /> Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br /> TO: FROM: <br /> ERMU Commission Mark Fuchs—Electric Superintendent <br /> MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br /> April 10, 2018 6.1c <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> Staff Update <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> None <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> • Had nine new house services. <br /> • Continue working on collecting data with the GPS for our ArcView maps as time permits. <br /> • Finished rebuilding the overhead line south of 197th Avenue to 190 %2 Lane on the east <br /> side of Highway 169. <br /> • Carr's tree trimming service continues helping out with tree trimming this year to help <br /> get caught up with the areas we acquired from Connexus. We are also tree trimming. <br /> • Finished moving some poles by the new Casey's gas station at 171st Avenue and Yale <br /> Street. We also installed the infrastructure for Casey's and hooked up their temporary <br /> electric service. <br /> • We hooked up the permit service at the Elk River Senior Living building on 183`d Circle. <br /> • We had two single phase transformers that were struck by vehicles; one on Upland <br /> Avenue and the other on Twin Lakes Road. Both incidents caused an outage and resulted <br /> in transformers needing to be replaced. <br /> • Diversified did our annual inspections on the bucket and digger trucks. The inspections <br /> include: Visual/Operational, Magnetic Particle, Dielectric, Load and Acoustic Emission <br /> Testing. <br /> • The City shop does D.O.T.'s for our trucks and trailers. They will be doing these during <br /> March and April. <br /> • Finished with the annual Performance Evaluations for the employees in my department. <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br /> 175 <br />
