PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 05-02 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION FINDING THAT THE SHERBURNE COUNTY <br /> HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY'S <br /> REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT <br /> NO. I AND PROJECT PLAN FOR THE TARGET TECHNOLOGY <br /> CENTER CONFORM TO THE GENERAL PLANS FOR THE <br /> DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF ELK <br /> RIVER. <br /> WHEREAS,the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for Sherburne County,Minnesota, <br /> (the "HRA") has proposed to adopt a Redevelopment Program for Redevelopment District No. 1 <br /> (the "Redevelopment Program") and a Project Plan for the Target Technology Center (the <br /> "Project Plan") therefor (the Redevelopment Program and the Project Plan are referred to <br /> collectively herein as the "Program and Plan") and has submitted the Program and Plan to the Elk <br /> River City Planning Commission (the "Commission") pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section <br /> 469.027 and 469.028 <br /> WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed the Program and Plan to determine their <br /> conformity with the general plans for the development and redevelopment of the City as <br /> described in the comprehensive plan for the City and if they will afford the City maximum <br /> opportunity, consistent with the needs of the City, for the development of the area by private <br /> enterprise. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission that the Program and Plan <br /> conforms to the general plans for the development and redevelopment of the City as a whole and <br /> specifically the applicable findings required by Mi�=sota Statue 469.027 and 469.028 Subd 2. <br /> Dated: August 23, 2005 <br /> Chair <br /> ATTEST: <br /> \7� deck,�,oSecretary 61 <br />
