The final EIS is basically made up of the following components: <br /> Front <br /> A summary of each of the sections in the draft Environmental Impact Statement . <br /> • Middle Section <br /> The City's responses to the comments received on the draft (both verbal and written). <br /> The comment is in bold type and the response by the City follows. <br /> Final Section <br /> The results of a pumping test that was done to verify the assumptions made on what <br /> impacts gravel washing operations would have on the aquifer. <br /> The comment period for the final EIS ends on June 20, 1994. On that date the City <br /> Council will be acting on whether or not to declare the EIS adequate. The Planning <br /> Commission can make comments on the final EIS if they wish. The final EIS should be <br /> added to the same three ring binder that contains the draft EIS, and the old cardboard <br /> insert on the cover should be exchanged with the new one attached to the final EIS.
